Photos and slides

This part of the archives contains almost 50.000 photos en 6000 slides. The subjects of the photos range from landscapes, people, animals to buildings. Some photos are unique on the world as they are the only visual proof of extinct or rare animals.

One can search all the photos and most of the slides of the archives by using the the search form below.  If after the search you want to have more information a photo or if you want to use it for a publication, you can contact Han de Koeijer at the Royal Belgian Institute for Natural Sciences.
